Who we are
PivoPay is a mobile app created by PivoWeb, a Quebec company headquartered in Sutton. Any question regarding your personal information may be directed to our personal information protection officer at christian@pivoweb.ca.
What we collect
- Your name, email, and phone number (account creation).
- The information on your invoices and receipts (content you upload).
- Your GST, QST, and NEQ registration numbers, if you provide them.
- Payment information processed by Stripe Inc. (PivoPay never stores your full card number).
- Technical data related to your device (model, operating system, time zone).
Where your data is stored
Your data is hosted on servers located in Canada. It is never resold, shared with advertisers, or used for advertising purposes.
Your rights (Law 25)
In accordance with Quebec's Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information, you have the right to:
- access your personal information at any time from the app;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- withdraw your consent;
- file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Retention
Invoices and receipts are kept for seven years for tax-compliance purposes with the Canada Revenue Agency. Other information is kept for as long as your account is active and deleted on request.
Electronic communications (CASL)
You can manage your email preferences or unsubscribe in one click at any time, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation.
Changes
Any significant change to this policy will be communicated to you by email and in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect.
